A: Deep Condition Deep Wave Weave
Did you know that an extension is exactly like your natural hair and it needs extreme care because with one wrong move you will spoil your weave extension to the point of no repair? How do you deep condition a deep weave wave?
A deep conditioner is used as a co-wash. Therefore, you have to be extra careful how you go about it. Ensure the deep conditioner is rich in moisture which will be very gentle to your hair and keep your cuticles moisturized.
Apply a good amount of conditioner on your hair extension in a downward motion. Do this while using your fingers and ensure that every strand is well coated with the deep conditioner.
After you feel that the amount of product in the hair is enough, cover it using a hair cap or shower cap for 30minutes or more (if possible).
This step is essential in maintaining Brazilian deep wave hairstyles. Wash the virgin hair extension thoroughly before moving on to the next step. Do this and remove any product from the hair preferably using running warm water because hot water will damage the cuticles.
Run your fingers through the hair to ensure there are no tangles and if there are any, deep condition that area again until you are satisfied.
When you run your fingers through your extension, you will see how bouncy it is and the curls will b more visible.
Bleaching and Dyeing
You can bleach and dye your weave into practically any color. But we actively don’t advice on it. This is because curlier hair has been texturized and bleaching puts the hair through another round of processing, which may cause harm if done incorrectly.
Bleaching can seem like a simple process but it really isn’t, and with one small mistake you will spoil your expensive hair extension for nothing.
We recommend going to your hair stylist for any bleaching and dying services, and they will ensure that they not only do it right but they are taking the right measures to protect your hair (a professional stylist who knows exactly what they are doing).
Washing Deep Wave Hair
When washing your hair, make sure to first comb it with a finger comb to ensure that strands are as free-flowing as possible. This allows you to get a proper wash without tangling the hair. Use a pre-conditioning treatment before shampooing, as this reduces the amount of drying.
Brushing Deep Wave Styles
We do not recommend that you brush your Deep Wave Hair, even with a paddle brush. This is because the curls will be unwound through brushing. Instead, please use a wide tooth finger comb to manage and style the hair.
As with all styles, when brushing your Deep Wave hair piece, always start from the tips of the hair, gently working your way up towards the roots. Please avoid combing your hair with fine tooth combs.
Caring for Deep Wave Hair at Night
When going to sleep, tie your Deep Wave Brazilian Hair into a single twist and cover it with a satin cap.
